What sits on top of the freight

  • Origin handling and loading: Warehouse handling, loading and export documentation at the European origin, typically EUR 90 to EUR 260 per container.
  • Bunker and seasonal surcharges: Carriers apply fuel, peak season and general rate increases that move week by week and are quoted at booking.
  • Destination charges: Terminal handling, customs clearance, duties, taxes and inland delivery at destination are payable by the buyer unless a DAP or DDP price is agreed.
  • Cargo insurance: Optional on CFR and included on CIF, usually 0.3% to 0.6% of the invoice value plus freight.

Estimates follow published 2026 container market levels and change with fuel, capacity and season. Your applicable freight is confirmed in the written quotation and pro forma invoice.
